Laura & Michael
It is always the greatest compliment when I book a wedding that is a friend or relative of someone who’s wedding I have photographed. So when I was asked to photograph Michaels wedding, who is the little brother of past bride Stacey, I was so honoured. Michael and Lauras love story was fast and their love was strong. Getting married within a year of dating, proves sometimes when you know you know! I spent the morning with Laura, and captured the sweetest “first look” with Michael being blindfolded so he could still have the “WOW” moment when he saw Laura walk down the isle. They prayed together and whispered sweet words of encouragement that gave them both peace over their nerves. The ceremony & reception were both held at the Courthouse Restaurant in Cleveland, sneaking off for some sunset photos at the Old Cleveland Lighthouse. Laura’s dad, a minister, performed the service which made it that much more heartfelt, with few dry eyes, and again when Laura gifted her bouquet of flowers to Michaels grandmother during the speeches. Another highlight was when Laura serenaded her new husband under the twinkling lights outside, and what a voice! A beautiful day for a beautiful couple- much love to you Laura & Michael!
