Sarah & Geoff's Intimate Brisbane Wedding, Walkabout Creek

I think we can all agree 2020 has been a crazy year! Through all the hard times the things I’ve focused on have been these tiny moments of joy, where love wins. The moments where we forget about the C word and the world pandemic and focus on what is most important to us. Sarah and Geoff’s wedding was just this. I got an email from Sarah only about 2 weeks before her wedding day, a last minute request to capture her wedding before the borders closed and Geoffs family couldn’t attend. I said yes of course. It was a beautiful intimate wedding held at the lovely walkabout creek, followed by some family photos and lovely couple portraits in the surrounding bushland and then an intimate dinner reception. Sarah & Geoff were married by their close friend Rachel, who had become a celebrant just to officiate them, making it extra intimate and special. Sarah left me a lovely review afterwards that went like this:

“Sarah and her partner are amazing. We decided to bring our wedding date forward due to Covid, and needed a photographer quickly! Sarah got 10 days notice, met us and viewed the venue 1 week before the wedding and did an absolutely brilliant job on the day. She made us feel relaxed and we had a fun time with the photo shoot, which neither of us thought was possible. Guests, celebrant and parents raved about her. She really helped make our day easy. Highly recommend!”
