Emma + James Walkabout Creek Wedding
I love that all my couples are different, and that my weddings don't fit the cookie cutter mould- white poofy dress scenario. Sometimes couples are low key & sweet, like James and Emma so it's fitting that their wedding was too! I met James and Emma the day before their wedding at Walkabout Creek. This is a bit unusual for me, as normally I have months to get to know and plan a wedding day, but James and Emma had popped over from the UK and decided to get hitched whilst home in Queensland, among family, friends and the gum trees! I loved them instantly and was super excited to be their photographer. They had an intimate mid-morning ceremony by the creek, followed by a lunch at local Ashgrove cafe, The Hub. A wedding doesn't have to be big, OTT or stressful to be beautiful and capture the love of two individuals and James and Emma's love shone through! What a wonderful whirlwind it was- check out some of the highlights below...
